I'm just wondering...I kept going on my last post until last Thursday, and got busy over the weekend, but...I do appear to be forging on alone. Em--you still interested? I know you other girls didn't really sign on to do the diary-ing per-se, but if anyone wants to talk about experiences on Weight Watchers or grocery shopping, getting the family to eat better, or anything to do with nutrition (including recipes or menus--I do love having a nice ongoing list of foodie and recipe posts on the other blog so I might consider copying recipes over there, or suggest putting the recipe on one blog and linking to it on another--but, really--whatever floats your boat). I've started trying to keep track of excercise too, b/c that's my thing, and I am trying to climb back on the wagon.
Anyhoo, after Himself's two trips to the grocery store yesterday (and messing something up that was on the list both times), I found myself back at the nicer store in town after another errand and bought a damn lot of groceries, ticking potential meals for the week off as I went. Thought I'd jot them down here so I remember and/or see how well I stick to my plan, once I actually have one.
Today: Chili Salad (made with ground turkey)
Tuesday: Chicken Tikka Masala
Wednesday: Stuffed Tilapia (these weee packaged fresh at the store--tilapia fillets around a crab stuffing, so I don't really have to do any more to it than pop it in the oven after a sprinkling of spice)
Thursday: probably leftover Chili
Friday: Pizza night (thin crust chicken and veggie)
Saturday: Probably leftover Chicken Tikka Masala
Sunday: potentially whole wheat spaghetti with meat sauce or meatballs (from ground turkey)--unless I thaw out something else from the freezer.

So how did your week's menu go? I remember talking about the Chicken Tikka Masala, along with some other Indian food that I kind of made fun of.
Maybe it will help me if I do a menu post for the week? I hadn't thought of putting it on the blog, so I could check back at the end of the week and see how we did - and it might work out better that way, since the daily food thing is tricky for some reason. Hmmm. . .
