I'm not sure why I'm doing this on the food blog rather than the other blog, but I guess since a lot of my changes involve food, this is as good a place as any? I dunno. Anyway, it is now February and I decided that it would be a good time to take a quick look back and see if I have Changed My Life. . .
. . . not much. Pretty much the only sustainable change I have made and kept is that I am eating out less at lunch (once a week or less, compared to every single day, and I quit buying breakfast, too), and we are eating out less at home. From an economic and nutritive standpoint, that's a very big change and very positive, so I am happy with it, but it seems rather small. I had hoped to be exercising or studying or keeping up the house, but barring one abortive attempt at a 30 day kitchen cleaning schedule that didn't last past the fourth day, nothing like that has occurred. Oh well - it is only February, is it not? OH - and I am drinking much less tea, so maybe that's a good thing too.
So, at any rate, that's all I have. I'm trying to get all the laundry done today, and have to leave relatively soon to take Little Miss Thang to sell Girl Scout cookies in the 'hood (and in the rain, to boot). I'm a little disappointed in myself. What the heck do you do for motivation???
