Argh--have no memory of Friday at all...
Saturday:
Breakfast--cereal, sausage, grapefruit, coffee (this is after the early-morning wake-up call so to speak and I didn't feel like preparing an omelet as I originally planned)
Lunch-- (after nauseating flight from K to Big Town was still a little green while waiting for my connector to the Belt Buckle) Almost kissed the ground when I saw a Starchucks and got grande Coffee Light Frappuccino and ate a Pria protein bar (not much of a lunch, but I didn't want to lose anything on the next flight--fortunately that one was not bad)
Dinner--(Dinnah on the road with Em who kindly picked my ass up at the airport and drove said ass home--what the hell was the place? Juan O'Gradies'? Pedro O'Malley's?? Of course, you were there for this Em, but just to be consistent) Newcastle brown ale--a butt-load of broccolli, several dollops of cheesy shrimp dip, 1/2 salmon steak in really nice bbq sauce.
Sunday: At The Ranch...
Breakfast--poached egg, "sprouted wheat" toast with cashew butter, 1 turkey sausage patty, coffee with soy milk
(aside to Em---If you think I am a health nut--you should witness the Units---oh, lordy. In some instances tho, they and I have different health-food fetishes and we had to go out and get stuff that I'd eat--including hi-protein cereal and Silk Soy Creamer (sadly only plain, not French Vanilla available at KR.)
Lunch--Turkey sandwiches on "sprouted wheat" bread, with lettuce, tomato and pickles--can't remember what/if anything else
Afternoon snack--sugar-free frozen yogurt chocolate and vanilla twist at Mall
Dinner-- big salad, chicken, mushrooms and wild rice mix, variety of braised greens
Dessert--3 Murrays sugar-free mint chocolate cookies (I got today at store)
Monday--
Breakfast--mix of Kashi cereals, 2 turkey sausage links, coffee w/ SSC (remember--the Units do not mix fruit with carbs.....would have liked some berries but their's were frozen)
Midmorning--after going to Wellness Center wayyyy early while the Units took a class. 1/2 apple, tall nonfat coffee latte.
Lunch--at Margarita's---few chips; really nice lunch salad topped with grilled shrimp, avocado and cheese.
Snack--pria mint choc. bar.
Dinner--made units one of my mega dinner salads--this one topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms, shredded deli-style roast beef and melted Sargento Mozz. w/ basil and tomato.
Dessert--made my sugar-free chocolate mousse parfaits
Tuesday: (Uhhh, a couple days later and I have no memory...)
Wednesday:
Breakfast--darned if we didn't have my traditional Sunday waffle breakfast--bought the Kashi Go-Lean blueberry waffles and the units really liked them
Lunch--shredded kale salad ala Momma Wheeler, followed by open-faced sandwich ala Laura with light veggie cream cheese, deli style ham and pastrami and pickles
early evening snack--some mixed nuts
Dinner--ala Emma and Restaurant to be named later...Ah okay. Fish N' Pig. Went for the fish. unsweet tea avec lemon and splenda, some bar drink that tasted mostly of grapefruit juice, salad, bourbon shrimp, baked beans, two hushpups,
Dessert: 1/2 of a very, well okay, too tangy key-lime pie. (One day I will perfect my own recipe)
Thursday: (Argh. This is exhausting...)
Breakfast--cereal mix with 1) 2 % milk--even that was wierdly rich to me and 2) blueberries that were FROZEN. Apparently the Units don't eat blueberries fast enough so they freeze them. I dug out a bag, put some frozen berries in a cup which I then proceeded to fumble and spill on the floor. Spent a while scrambling all over floor and picking up and then rinsed/soaked until they were thawed. 1 turkey sausage link, coffee w/ SSC
Midmorning apres gym snack: 1/2 protein bar (started one of these other days and put back in my purse)
Lunch: At Rain Thai/Chinese restaurant--egg drop soup, spring roll, and ginger chicken (with onions, peppers, baby carrots)--delish.
Dinner: Salad (served before rest of meal comme d'habitude), pasta with salmon and capers, sauteed zucchini, onion, mushrooms with goat cheese.
